Did you add the picture as an attachment? If that's the case you will receive an error message that the image is missing. This article shows how to add the image to the app and the web.
Web
The picture needs to be uploaded under the field Basis for expense (receipt).
App
In the app, click Attach receipt at the top of the expense and add the picture.
